Company that'll scan plans to boat?

Hi All,

Can anyone recommend a company that'll scan large format plans for a boat?

The previous owner of my boat recently mailed a fat envelope of plans to my mail service in the US. I am in Grenada, and, would rather just have these scanned so that I can look at them, rather than risk sending the envelope here. I am not able to take a look inside the envelope from here, but am assuming it's filled with architectural sized drawings.

I'd like the scans to be dimensionally accurate, since we are thinking of sending some parts off to a metal fab shop in the US to make some replacements. After measuring here to confirm these bits were built as designed.

Matt.

The man that designed the Flicka stopped selling the plans to it because companies no longer have the equipment to copy something that big. So, size matters.

FedEx Kinks offices have large scanners for blueprint sized paper.

Things may have improved since the last time "Mr. Flicka" tried.

Staples recently did a large blueprint scan, think it was $5 or less.

Thanks, everyone! I'll forward the envelope to a family member who'll stop by a FedEx.

I live in a small town without FEDEX, and I have had big plans copied and scanned at the local LAND SURVEYORS office. They deal in big paper work all of the time.____Just a thought. _____Grant.
