Chemical Bottom Paint Stripping

lets talk about bottom painting stripping. I realize that media blasting is the most effective method of stripping but thats more than I want to spend, most quotes are coming in at around a grand and it's on a 30ft boat. I think I'm going to use a chemical stripper, my question is which have you all found to be the most effective?
