Chainplate removal
My second post in one day, this is a big day for me!

my port chainplate for my lower shroud is leaking. Can I undo the stay and pull the chainplate to repair ( I want to do them all) can I do them one at a time? Or is it more complicated, I do not want to take down the mast.

Is your mast keel stepped OR deck stepped?

Either way, I would just remove a couple of the chain plates at a time....

Also, you can use your halyards to steady the mast while shrouds are absent........................_/)
