Question Centurion 49 Water Tanks

Hi, I bought a Wauquiez Centurion 49 in February, there are three water tanks with a single entrance on the coach roof, I still have not figured out how you can isolate, there are four valves in the bilge with a scheme oxidized by time, can anyone help me? I've photos, but i'm not able to attach.
thanks

If you haven't done so, you should post this on the yahoo group "wauquiez-boats". On our 41S, two of the three tanks have a common fill, but there is a valve in a locker to select which tank is being filled.

Re: Centurion 49 water tanks

I have hull # 69 (they included the Centurion 47).

Shut all of the valves except the one you want to draw water from. #1 should be the most forward, #2 the highest under the settee, #3 directly under that, and #4 near the nav station.

Feel free to PM me with Wauquiez questions, as I have done a 99% refit, and know where to get the parts.

I can email you a photo of the water tank placard. There is no #5, and #6. It is four tanks totaling about 150 gallons.

Thumbs up Re: Centurion 49 water tanks

Thanks very much for your help
I'm Italian and Le Dabe is in Valencia,Spain.
I' bought her in February on eBay, for five years nobody was on her, totally abandoned, half of seacocoks blocked by oxidation, none of internal lamps and switches working and so on.
Now i'm trying to refit her, spending about a week every month in Spain and a little budget in a shipyard.
Your answer is very helpful and I've some other questions:
1) I've seen your Centurion, I'm sure that you don't have a fixed propeller, can you send me the misures for a MaxProp ?
2) In your opinion is it possible to change rod rigging to wire rigging ?
3) Do you have a scheme of electrical system ?

Every things you have about Wauquiez Centurion 47/49 will be useful, last owner is wretch and there is no instruction or documentation.
Grazie

Re: Centurion 49 Water Tanks

I do not have a wiring diagram.
Mine is a Maxprop 19x13 inch, three blade.
You would have to check with a rigger to inquire about the change.
