Can you recommend a Wire Rope Supplier?

Hi All,

I'm in the process of procuring material for the new standing rigging on my 2012 Leopard 44. Can anyone recommend a good wire rope distributor? I'm looking to buy a large qty of heavy gauge 1x19 dyform stainless in various sizes.

As always, al help and input appreciated!

Yes, I'm going to use a professional rigger--just am looking to source the parts on my own to save a little. And yes, not going to buy Chinese wire

Rerigged last year with wire and fittings provided by Sailing Services in Ft Laud. Their sales process was a little tedious at times (understaffed I think), but the end result was good.

I worked with a rigger on a consulting basis who had a commercial account with them. I paid him for his time and he did not mark up the materials so I saved a nice chunk...especially when it came to an unexpected replacement of the roller furling (ouch!). They may also be willing to discount on larger purchases.

Just re rigged mine ! Used compression fittings and a very tidy job it was. Got everything from Peterson Stainless in the UK Old rig was fine but surveyors love spending your money . It was only 35 years old LOL
