Problem with the stuff designed for the deck of your boat is that they charge you a crazy "marine" price for that stuff.

I've considered stuff like NuTeak and Lonseal, but it seems pretty damn expensive for what it is. For not much more, I could get Teak/Holly ply and have a much easier installation.

I'm looking for something solid and dependable, but at a better price than the alternatives

We used a similar all vinyl product (bamboo) and after five years it's just the same as it was on day one. It has taken lots of water on it, heavy traffic, oils, fuels, etc.... Never had any difficulties with it. I wouldn't hesitate to use it again.

How much does it weigh per square foot? After it is sealed and finished, what keeps it from emulating a skating rink if water falls on it? It looks gorgeous, though......
