I was actually going to suggest last night that if someone has made it to a certain age and still doesn't own a drill......then it is not the time to start. These are the types of people who are very capable of F'ing something up beyond comprehension and not even realizing that something has gone awry!!

Tool use may be unfamiliar to him. It was to me, but it can be learned.
Tools are a danger in some people's hands. If an adult has no tools, there's probably a reason.

Re: Buy a Fender Board?

At first I thought that the OP was pulling our collective leg. But the more I thought of it the more it made sense. After all the very people who are buying pricey wind direction instruments may be the same people yearning to purchase a fender board or two.

Re: Buy a Fender Board?

Thanks for a great morning read I'm with zeehag - who would know that a question about scrap lumber would lead to such humor. PVC rollers is a great idea, however. Like most nautical ideas, new concepts travel slowly and by example. Think I'll make one to show off.

As a lady-whale said to a guy-whale: "Is this a mighty fender hanging off of your belly or are you just glad to see me?"
