Bottom Paint

I am thinking about bottom paint. The newer paints such as Pettit 900 series and the Interlux Econea and Vivid use little or no copper. Vivid has a broad range of colors, including white, a non-color. What I am wondering is, since these paints don't have copper, do they retain their color without the patinas and discoloration typical of the copper paints. Also I am wondering if anyone has had experience with these new paints and how well they work.
