Bottom paint

Ok i<ask enought questions in the past week so one more won't hurt I,hope.After a complete examine of my bottom I,nor 2 other people can find any osmosis.My paint is flaking in some areas,I,do not wish to remove all nthe paint as the areas I,have sanded to Gel appear solid,I,do not know what type of bottom paint is on the boat,The boat will be sitting in a hostile enviornment for Barnacles as I,am refitting.I,wish just to protect it for 6 or 8 months and will haul again.Should I,apply an abbative paint or hard paint knowing both may peel or should I,just put the cheepest thing out there for now.All opinion very welcome,I,am in S FL in the St Lucie River S Fork;

Re: Bottom paint

Id go hard and the cheapest for now. You will want hard once you're cruising so you can snorkel clean it often....
