Do I need to use foam spacers on floor stringers like I use on bulkheads? I can't see the floor flexing like the topside of the hull, so maybe I don't have to worry about hard spots??

I can't find any mention of spacers or hardspots in Don Casey's book or the West System handbook for floor stringers, only bulkheads.
