Boat Stands (Jacks)-- Need advice

Hi there Friends & Sailors--- Quick Advice from those of you that may have traveled down this road--- I need boat Stands for putting a 25' boat on the hard--she weighs 4,300 lbs. Does anyone have a cheaper avenue other than buying 7 brand new Boat Stands and 2 keel stands? I KNOW we have a very cost conscious + creative crowd here-- so I am throwing my 'fleece' out there... Thank you in advance for your posts!

P.S. I did receive a quote online for $1000 for 9 brand new galvanized boat stands. We were only hoping only to spend $300-$400. Is this my only alternative= to ask neighboring Marinas for their old dilapidated ones-- and rebuild them?

For a 25' boat you only need 5 stands, plus a couple of 6"x6" timbers under the keel.
