Blood on the sails

Any tips on removing blood from Dacron sails? (don't ask!)

Re: Blood on the sails

Hydrogen Peroxide and mild soap! Bleach as a LAST resort, but wash thoroughly with a lot of water afterwards. Good luck!

Nurse taught me many years ago that hydrogen peroxide will react with blood and lift the stain. Be sure to rinse with water at some point shortly thereafter. No need for any bleach.
