Battery Water

Hi Team just about to head north and would like some input ???

What are your thoughts on using water maker water for topping up wet cell batteries Cheers Jacko

Really bad idea. There are a lot of metals and minerals that will make it past the ro filter. You should only use distilled water in your batteries.

I could be really wrong so someone please correct me... I got a small container of battery acid from the auto supply store. Other than that I agree only distilled water.

no battery acid. your bat was filled with acid at the factory and the acid dosent evaporate only the water. Only distilled water should be added to the battery
