Barrier Systems? Sherwin Williams vs Interlux

Hey all as spring is quikly approaching up here in the frozen northland, I'm getting ready to finnish my bottom job. I have heard a few on here mention a product by Sherwin Williams. I've been trying to find some info on it and have not come up with much. I stopped at my local Sherwin Williams store and they were not a lot of help. They called a corprate number and said they have something they use on steel but it can also be used on fiberglass. This product would save me around $100 over interprotect 2000, but is it as good? Does anyone on here have experiance with the Sherwin Williams product? Any info would be great Thanks.

I have to agree with that. The lack of information out there doesn't bode well, & the potential cost savings are meagre in the big scheme. Think of how much it will cost if it doesn't work & you have to do it again next year.

I've used the Sherwin Williams (ProLine) barrier coat with good results.

I used Proline most of the time back in the 80's when I was in Sandy Eggo, Ca.

have a look at the Carboline line of paints. Espina was painted with it in 2005, still solid as a rock. They make various kinds of paints for applications in heavy use at sea. The stuff I have is container paint. Pricey according to the previous owner, but well worth it.
