Has anyone used epoxy from Progressive Epoxy

I'm looking at stripping my bottom and might as well as put a barrier coat on while the bottom is stripped. Of course the question comes up as to what my product options are. In a quick search this site came up any thoughts or comments are most welcome.

I can really recommend MAS epoxies. Among its other properties, it remains slightly flexible. No matter how stong you believe your boat to be, it still "works" as it glides over the ocean's waves. IMHO, Chris

I see Interlux 2000 going over lots of boats bare hulls. That's what it is made for. That's what I use as a protective barrier coat on my aluminum hull. It holds up very well.

See what your yard manager has to say first.

CeRam-Kote is the best barrier coat I have found. It works so well I started selling it.

Thanks for the replys! I have used VC Tar and West System and on the last project an industrial expoy from Pratt & Lambert. The Pratt & Lambert product was by far the best in easy of application and performance and was half the price. I can no longer can get the same product from Pratt & Lambert so I was looking for something similar and the Progressive Expoy looked close but I can't find anything that gives me supportive information that it is what the company claims. Thanks

I'm kind of wondering why you have written off Interlux 2000 or Interlux 3000? It really is excellent stuff.

We have a boat yard up here who put me onto the Pratt & Lambert at the time verses the Interlux 2000. You could get 10 mils with 1 coat and another recoat within 20 minutes and your done, and at half the price. I know that Interlux is a proven product but it takes 4 - 5 coats to get a 10 mils with 3hrs between coats.
