Re: Anyone recognize these strainers ?

Just saw three on a 48' ketch today; nice bronze castings... I'll get the brand name for you

Re: Anyone recognize these strainers ?

I’ll have to check but I may still have a dozen or so kicking around both too and bottom ones. I may have also thrown them out as I got rid of mine in favour of a new groco. They are very easy to hand make out of sheets of cork gasket as well.

And I see you have a Taswell. I bet it’s a Grand Deer.

Re: Anyone recognize these strainers ?

I have been making them out of neoprene but if the replacements are still available I would prefer using them. Thanks for everyone's help with this.

Re: Anyone recognize these strainers ?

If they are Geand Deer, they’ve been out of business for a while. I would get the hole saw set out, stack some layers of cork and make a half dozen at a time. You might be able to find one that fits that’s still being produced but by the time you found one you could have made hundreds imo.

Re: Anyone recognize these strainers ?

McMaster Carr has tons of gaskets and they aren't very expensive. I'd just buy one close to size.
