Anyone have any idea the antifoul surface area of this vessel?

Greetings and welcome aboard the CF, Toddy.

I don’t know if the manual provides the information you seek:

TAYANA VANCOUVER 42

Dunno the area but last haulout we used 3 gallons of Pettit
Trinidad Pro thinned with about a quart of thinner across
the three gallons. That got us two coats everywhere and
three coats at the waterline and on the rudder.

Thanks

I have been using ablative combined with a two transmitter ultrasound system & so far have had 4 yrs since coating. It has required some diving rub down but has been economical. I am now thinking of using a copper based coating that says with minor annual rubdown (while in water will) last 5 to 10 yrs.
As I am in my 71st yr it might see me out. my wife & I are very pleased with our vessel. Hope pix transmits was taken when in Sydney prior to sailing to Adelaide in Sth Aust in 7.75 days.

Tayana 42

Have owned this yacht for 4 yrs. Found it a very good sea boat in rough seas. It's no racer but is very comfortable.

Hi Toddy
I used the same paint and amount as John. I got 2 good coats all around and extra at the waterline.
