That sounds like a bit of fun, I'll keep an eye out! I didn't realize it could build up that fast, although one of my ropes was left in the water by my boat and it built up quite quickly in just two months!

Its a green colors from my survey pictures, which is normal, from what I read!

Actually its probably more than that on the South Coast of the UK, because you will need £500 of lift and storage ashore for a week. £600 to slurry blast the old antifouling stuff off and then £300 for the copper coat. Keep the spare tin on board to cover the bottom of the keels and any touch ups, but don't forget it needs the two parts mixing as its epoxy.

Are you under the impression that your Coppercoat will somehow provide anti fouling protection even though it has been painted over with another product?

You mean swim around the hull with a mask and snorkel in the harbour? remember Europe is still in the dark ages when it comes to holding tanks so most boats just pump the heads over board even in a harbour.

Any nice calm beaches nearby?

We've established the color of the copper coating to match the product and intact was never painted over...if its not the case I will see the growth when I revisit the boat in December

There is a nice beach right next door to the marina, I was more worried about being electrocuted , but fecies does pose another threat.

Salt water electric shock drownings (ESD) are very rare. Much more likely to occur in freshwater.

Asoo , I had read somewhere, you can never be too careful these days, so I wouldn't be crazy for jumping under the boat at the marina and check for fouling?

I do it for a living and have for over 19 years and 20,000+ service events. Have never once experienced a problem. Further, in the 19 years I've been in business, over 1,000,000 in-water hull cleanings have been performed here in the Bay Area. To my certain knowledge, no hull cleaner has ever been injured or killed due to electric shock. Is it possible? Yes. Is it likely? No. You are at greater risk simply driving to the marina than you are swimming in it. Unplug your boat from the shorepower system. You'll be fine.
