One mans quest to build his own boat. You have to admire his dedication.

I can only hope my project doesn't last this long or cost me any appendages.

Beautiful boat.

One of the first things I learned is to respect the momentum of the boat and to understand that the space between it and the dock is not the place for appendages. He took the loss very well!

Had to kick back and relax a bit before the boat building season starts up again!

Only a Canadian's pasty white legs could make Jamaica look dark and bleak

Get back to work!

Technically I was only there for the Rum! Which I found in abundance!

As for the pasty legs thing, well that's the price we pay for living in a winter wonderland of ice & snow!

Re: And So it Begins . . . Knottybuoyz' New Project

The weather's starting to warm up so the Project Manager and I inspected the boat shed on the weekend.

He gave his "Paw of Approval" so we'll be restarting operations soon!

Nope. We have our own groundhog thing too. Actually think it started with us and everybody else copied it!

I just had to open a link with "Willie" in the title.

Feb 1 - Wake up Willie! I can only imagine the preferred method for waking up your willie.

Feb 3-5 - Willie weekend. Now that sounds fun...

Re: And So it Begins . . . Knottybuoyz' New Project

The rodent was wrong. Mother Nature's not done with us yet. For those of you sailing around the sunny and warm latitudes this is what we're still putting up with in the Great White North!

This was our Friday commute home. Normally it takes us an hour and twenty mins. This time it was near 3 hours. Below is what caused the biggest backup.

Anywho still sitting and waiting patiently for the weather to warm up so I can get back to work on the boat. If all goes according to plan I'll be a full time boat builder by September. Standby...
