AC Error msg

16k btu Cruisair self contained air conditioner occasionally gets "Hi Pressure" alarm and shuts down. I have seen this type error when the water pump fails to come on, but now the water flow is good, pump is running normally. Any ideas?

Re: AC error msg

The air conditioning condenser could be fouled enough to reduce heat transfer and trip the high pressure alarm, but not fouled enough to restrict flow.

If so, disconnect the raw water supply from the pump and fill the condenser with a 50/50 mixture of Rydlyme or CLR and water by pouring the mixture into the hose with a funnel. Make sure that the hose level is correct to let the condenser fill with solution. Let it set for an hour and then flush.

Re: AC error msg

I have heard of this happening if you move into an area of warmer water. Has the water warmed significantly or have you moved from cool water to warm water?
