Yanmar YSE8 Help

Can anybody please help? I need to know the thread and size of the bolts that mount the exhaust manifold or elbow to the engine on a yse8. There is a total of three . two look as though they would need to be somewhere about 60nor 65 mm (or about 2 1/2 inches)and the other one looks as though it would need to be about 30 or 35 mm(or about 1 1/4 inches) The holes in the casting are about
9mm dia. These are my guesses as some clown has lost the original bolts.
Any help would be much appreciated.
thanks

Re: Yanmar YSE8 help

Great engine, I rebuilt one a dozen years ago, or so. The parts manual has bolt sizes in it. These are hardened bolts, not available at a hardware store. You need to contact a Yanmar dealer. They'll have parts catalog on microphish or maybe updated. Also should be available on the internet

Re: Yanmar YSE8 Help

Capnorv, Thank you very much for taking the time to reply with your help. I can't find the sizes in my manual but a yanmar dealer has since advised that I need 2xM8 x65 and 1 xM8x 40. Both by 1.25 metric thread. Because of the limited access in this situation it is very difficult for me to do any measuring myself. Love that Avatar. We don't see them at all here in OZ. Mostly Northshore and Phantoms.I have a more modest Columbia 27 but as I do all my own anti-fouling etc I couldn't handle any larger. Besides I have had her for
over 20 years and boats just grow on you. She's been everywhere and there's been nothing she couldn't handle. Thanks again.
kindest regards
