Yanmar Parts Catalogs

My boat has a Yanmar 2GM. I've seen parts lists that only show part numbers and a part name where the part name may be listed multiple times with different part numbers, not sure which I would need.

What I really wanted was something more detailed that showed a diagram of where the parts went on the engine with the associated part number. After a week or so of searching, I finally found this link with a list of Yanmar Engines.

For my 2GM, I would click the one at the top "123GM" (for 1GM, 2GM, 3GM).

Looks like you can click on the engine model you're interested in and you'll be able to select the Spare Parts Catalog that shows detailed drawings for various parts of the engine and a list of part numbers. This way you can be sure you're getting the correct part number you need because you can see where on the engine the part goes.

I hope this could be a good resource for others with Yanmar engines.

My thanks as well.

Bit disapponted that it did not include the SD20 saildrive (link broken?)

LSM Diesel is a great resource, especially for Bukh parts which are a lot harder to find than Yanmar. I bought parts from them a few times, always with satisfactory results. The owner (manager?) is quite knowledgeable if you have any questions.

Thank you, Rhapsody, for a very valuable resource. I've bookmarked the 3GM30 page. I know it will come in handy.

The link just above, marked simply "SD-20" works fine.
