Max dia is 64 mm.

The 12 mm was the approximate "height" of the knurled ring when sitting as shown in photo - nothing to do with the the diameters.

I'mma make time to crawl thru this computer and shake you....

Uh duh... Do you now have serious doubts about your "free" machinist if I erred on the completely obvious fact that the knurl lands are probably about 2-3 mm instead of almost 1/2"???

Hey Spannerguy, I was reviewing this old thread and realised I'm still awaiting the prototype spanner - my filter is filling with junk - waiting waiting waiting...
