Yanmar Engine Overheating

Hi,
Just joined and wonder if any member could advise me how to solve an engine overheating problem.
I have twin Yanmar 4JH2-HTE on board...the port engine overheat when reaching 2500 RPM (I usually run them both at 2900 witout any problem maintaining 150 F.)
Last year I have replaced the heat exchanger. Just cleaned the intake water filter system, replaced the salt water pump impeller, the engine fresh water thermostat...but still have the same problem.
Checked all hoses for obstruction as well as the salt water intake valve.
Any idea of what might cause this problem ?

Thanks

Philippe

Re: Yanmar Engine Overheating

Did you check your exhaust riser where the cooling water is injected into the exhaust system? It will often get plugged and cause over heating.
