YANMAR 4jh4ae Inclination

Hello everybody , i am new in this forum . My saling yacht is a Beneteau First 38 , 1984. Recently i installed a Yanmar 4jh4ae 54 hp with ZF 30 . But the mechanic installed the motor in 15 or more degrees instead of up to 8 degrees . Is the motor going to have any problems in the future or not ?

what is the actual value of the degrees?

the dip stick will read incorrectly and you'll need to adjust for that.

Do you mean that i'll have no problem in the future and that the only thing that i have to do is to fill with more oil than the upper line of dip stick indicates ?

We'll assume that the engine is tilted aft????????

if so by how many degrees?

if the dipstick is at the aft end of the engine you won't put more oil in the engine than the specs call for, you'll just need to remark the stick so that you have a "new" full level.
