yanmar 3HM35F type oil

Finished my rebuild, expensive, now to use synthetic oil or not. I feel that when my oil line broke, under full power I shut down as soon as I could but still spun a bearing if I had synthetic oil, perhaps the damage could have been avoided. So how many uses synthetic oil in their diesels and are you happy???

I'd stick with regular Delo if it was me. All the folks I know use Delo and just change their oil a lot. Sounds more like you just had a bad turn on the fate wheel.
