Hmm so the engine is low in the
hull and just to Port of center but I would estimate the engine
exhaust outlet is about at the waterline. The exhaust system runs down to an exhaust water-lock box then from there the exhaust hose runs up above the waterline and back down and out the exhaust outlet which sits 10cm/4inch above the waterline at the rear center of the stern and is a down turned style opening to minimize
water shooting back up in there.
Is the water-lock box and the high-rise after the box enough to prevent
water back filling my cylinders? What about the water that is left between the mixing elbow and the water-lock after running the engine.. If heeling over, could this enter my engine or does the water siphon out of the system when the engine is shut off?
