Yanmar 3ES Information Request
Can anyone provide information on an older Yanmar 3ES engine.

I have seen one in a project boat but I can't find much info on line about them.

So far, all the detail seems to indicate they were (are?) popular in China. The best I can work out is it's 3 cylinder, about 4+ litres, slow revving, 50 or more Hp and maybe wet sleeved.

Were they ever sold in USA or Europe?

Any confirmation of this or more detail would be most welcome.
