Ive removed the injectors and had them serviced by a
diesel specialist, that part was easy.
I've also purchased new copper washers, and the nozzle protector etc. from
Yanmar, that was also easy apart from the cost.
The issue I've got is removing the old nozzle protectors.
I got one out today but it was an unholy exercise which I hope never to repeat. I also fear a small piece of copper washer dropped through (about 2mm square)!! Ill vacuum tomorrow with a small pipe into cylinder
head and cross fingers.
Part of me thinks just leave the other one in and reassemble but as I've come this far I wouldn't mind getting the other one out as long as it doesn't become another debacle.
Does any one have a special technique or know of a special tool to get these things out.
