yanmar 1gm10 shut off?

Hey--I'm replacing my old Yanmkar 1gm10 with a not quite as old version. The newer control panel has no pull knob led to the shut off. So the question is...has this feature changed since the old days? Thanks in advance.

It could have an electric actuator in place of the cable. Look around the injection pump and you should see a device something like a small can with an arm and a couple of wires doing the same job the old pull to stop cable did.

It maybe electric as RM suggests but more likely it is just the newer control panel which doesn't have a position for the stop cable.

You are expected to find your own mounting position for the cable usually of course, somewhere in close proximity to the engine (or in engine room?).
