Who manufactured this pedestal?

Does anyone out there have an idea as to the make and manufacturer of my steering pedestal (pics included)? I have been looking for illustrations on this unit so I can bleed and swear a little easier while attempting to replace my clutch cable.

Thank you for any information or guesses you may have. Ted Brewer designed East Orient 32 Cutter.

Yacht Specialties / Merriman made that one. They are long out of business. If you need parts try the consignment stores.

Earlier ones shared the same base bolt pattern as Edson but later ones had a 6.5" bolt pattern and swap outs with Edson are not quite as easy... Later ones had Yacht Specialties cast into the base but the earlier ones did not. That one looks pretty early...

Re: Who manufactured this pedestal?

Excellent thank you! It seems there are no illustrations out there that I can find. Certainly not an easy unit to work inside.
