Can anyone help me locate a Heat Exchanger for a Vetus Diesel M2.05 (A502) which I am using as a Generator and Watermaker Drive on my Hans Christian "Christina"?

Hi there, yes im based in Subic Bay (Marine Surveyor and Engineer), will be here, By the way since you are in Fiji much easier/ better to contact Steve Shale Marine Diesel in Brisbane, a very good diesel mechanic and John Deere agent - but has contacts all around Australia (and with Vetus Australia) he recently supplied a full rebuild kit for my 3 cyl Vetus engine (including you guessed it a whole new heat exchanger) think that came from Europe and had to wait 10 days but then fed xd it all to me, -Great guy that goes the extra mile for customers-Phone# +61 7 33903633 or +61 401162677-email: steve@marinediesel.net.com , mention you know me and it may assist- Cheers Capt Steve

Hi again Steve, thank you so much, the engine is quite old and all anyone wants to do is sell parts that are incompatible so this is a big help. If I don't fix it here, at a push I can do without a Genny until I get to Aus. I'm single handed so I'm ok for water and I have my main engine that pumps up the electricity if required. Ray, in case you dont have it the part number for the internal tube stack is STM 1559 -thats not the complete housing just the tube stack(having trouble finding the whole assy part number in my records, Below is the email for a company in the USA advertising the same Vetus engine you have but with a marine drive in a seized condition but supposedly all other parts are available, they deal in used Vetus and other engines as parts or complete unit.
