I assume it's supposed to slide out towards the end of the engine with the belts on it, but it's not coming out. I've tried a little bit of hammer action, but I'm not getting any movement. It should only be the two bolts but the starter may be lodged in. If you have a rubber mallet or something tap it a few times in different directions to losen it. Make sure the bolts are out not just unbolted. I changed mine around when I put them back in to make it easier to get at the alan head
sides. The only other thing holding mine is was the wires to the solenoid
