Is the o-ring just behind the throttle plate?. Remove the bolt and pull the plate off and that exposes the o-ring?
I have a 4.108M "new" model,it has the same FI pump as Sanibel Sailor's. You'll need to show a photo
of your throttle body and point to where you believe the leak is,also there is no throttle "plate";possibly you mean the throttle "shaft" which ,internally, operates a metering valve which regulates the amount of fuel
to the injectors thereby increasing/decreasing the power output of the engine
