After reading a lot and watching a few youtube videos i've noticed that raw water pumps fail quite frequently just due to the breakdown of the impeller. Are there any better designs to minimize pump failure? Any kind of corrosion resistant coating you can use on the impeller?
Failure usually due to elastomer breakdown through constant flexing.Mine takes about 10 minutes to replace. On the other pump, it's usually seals and bearings that go but rarely.
