Warning Sound

i have a westerbeke and the warning sound will not shut off. the oil pressure is well over 25 and more.. the amps are ok... i blead the injectors they are ok, no air in lines... cant stop the warning alarm ... is there a short or something i should look for... tks any help...pn

Is it overheating?

If not, pull the oil pressure and water temperature sensors and test them.

I had this with a bad oil sensor. I replaced the sensor but later found cleaning the sensor would have been good enough.

Thanks for all your answers i just got a call from the Mechanic who is on the boat now and he said he found the trouble and it was or is the "oil sensor switch for the alarm"
dam i sure fell out of the loop as far as engines go...i took a one day course but that didn't help much....thankx again for all you suggestions and they were right on....pn
