Unhappy Volvo Saildrive MS25S
Hi Out there. Anyone have an idea of what the consequences of putting SAE 75-90 Gear Oil in an MS25S sail driver, vice the required engine oil? My yard did that last year and now I have water in my sail drive. Seems the thicker oil might not have been able to penetrate into the lower seals and they might have failed. Anyone with this sad experience?
