Volvo penta gearbox , what is what ?
Hello all , could someone please tell me what the difference is between the gearbox type MS2AE and the MS2B ?
Are they compatible ?
Meaning , I have a MS2AE installed on my 50HP volvo penta (perkins) , but was wondering if the MS2B could also serve my needs ?

MS2ae 2.40:1 OR 3.00:1 Down angle. MS2b 2.30:1 straight, clutch ete same. MS2b-a Down angle model 2.37:1.
