Volvo Penta D2-75 with 150 S Saildrive

Hi!

I have a oil leak from the gearbox/saildrive. I have located it to be from the shaft or the seal ring, at least that is what I believe. The oil comes out in the aerea where the engine and gearbox is meets.
I have tried many times to ask the " proffesional" Volvo repair fasilities without any reasonable answers. My gearbox can't be the first with this problem, even it seems so talking to Volvo people.

A common leakage point is the rear crankshaft seal.
If you decide that it could be this then you might as well replace the seals on both ends of the crank. It might save a bit of pain later.
