Using Kubota parts

Has anyone used Kubota glow plugs instead of the much more expensive universal diesel glow plugs on a M15 universal engine?

Re: Using Kubota parts

The much more expensive Universal glow plugs are Kubota glow plugs. All universal did to the engine is slap an impeller pump, heat exchanger, mounts and gearbox onto it.

The $12 Kubota plugs look the same to me. Thanks for the info!

Yes, the only reason to buy Universal parts is when Kubota don't make them. This applies to the marinisation parts, like heat exchanger, exhaust manifold, etc.

For filters, I've been using Wix.

Re: Using Kubota parts

The Kubota glowplugs are NGK (at least the 3 Kubota's I have owned have been), so you might find them even cheaper with a google search!
