Solé diesel serpentine belt

My boat is fitted with a Solé Marine Mini 33 which is a Mitsubish S3L2 diesel engine at it's core. These aren't exactly thick on the ground around here. I'm looking at options for fitting a heavy duty alternator which will involve a drive belt upgrade and an alternator upgrade. Alternatives are to buy an off the shelf kit or to roll my own. I've been unable to locate any specific information on either option at the moment but I'm starting to get my ideas together and my preference is for roll-your own unless I can source an off the shelf solution at a reasonable price. Before I commit I'm looking to see if anyone has experience with the Mitsubishi based engine converted to a serpentine belt that may have some advice.
