SL3 Engine Controls - Help!

We are having trouble removing the cover to the engine controls. We can't seem to find the secret to getting the cover off to adjust the friction control. This is a top mount Morse Marine product. a SL3 engine control on a 2002 Wildcat Catamaran. We can't find any visable clips or bolts. the only info we have says to remove the coverbut not how.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Might be just a press fit. Try a thin screwdriver around the edges (gently)
