Servicing Engine Controls

I am after a bit of help pulling a part apart for servicing.

I have Hynautic hydraulic controls that I have stripped , cleaned and re-kitted and one throttle slave still had issues.
Long story short it ended up being the STV-10 lockout valve



which in real life look like this


I took them off of the ends of the slaves and reconnected the system and it worked flawlessly, so obviously this is where the fault lies, but apparently the STV-10's are needed to stop throttle creep so cant be left off..

Does anyone know how to get these apart?
There is nothing in the manual about it, the two aluminium nuts on the end come off and there are poppet balls in them and inside the block there are brass and O rings visible, but no indication as to how to get that assembly out.

A light tap with a wooden dowel and hammer didn't produce a result.
Do I need a bigger hammer?

I wont call as I live in Australia, but I will email them.

Hopefully the Canadians will be better than the US division who have never replied to either of the two emails I sent.
The Australian re-sellers are totally clueless.

It was suggested on another forum that I try a hydraulic specialist.
Today I tried 4 of them and am none the wiser.
All they could suggest was belt it out or ask the next guy.

I did both and nothing happened

This is what it looks like inside and the same at the other end
It looks like it should tap out to me but it isn't.
