Repower Catalina 30 with 3GM30F

Anybody have experience with putting a 3GM30F in a 1980 Catalina30?

I don't recommend using a Yanmar in a Catalina 30. A Universal 20 or 25 is a much better fit. When going with Yanmar power you will need to raise the salon seating about 2" to clear the engine.

I've got a 12hp Yanmar in our 79 c-30, it raised the area above it about 4 inches, although there is plenty of clearance so I am sure 2 would suffice.
