Replace engine Bristol 41.1

I am planning to replace the westerbeke 52 with a Yanmar
Has anyone done this for a Bristol 41.1. Thanks

Our Bristol 41.1 has a Yanmar. It appears the original Westerbeke was replaced by cutting the cockpit sole ( directly under the pedestal on the center cockpit. ).

Been there. Done that. W42 to Yanmar 4JH4E.

And you positively do not have to cut the cockpit floor!

Correction: Ours is a center cockpit, but I believe it can still be done without destructive methods on aft cockpit.

Previous owner on my 41.1 replaced engine through the aft stateroom hatch. Some engine disassembly was required.
