Remote Oil Filter for a Yanmar 4JH
Anyone have any experience? I tried one but the sealing surface was not satisfactory on the engine....it blew out the gasket/o-ring.

I believe it was a perma-cool product

Chief, I tried a couple of different manufacturers on our 4JH and could never get one that did not leak. Went back to the original factory filter. Chuck

anything current on this? I've got a 4JH2-TE, with the factory oil filter location that's just a mess. gets me in so much trouble, in the salon. a relocated oil filter could be so much better . . .
