If the throttle line gets pinched will it affect getting into gear
I've been messing with the control unit for the past 2 hours.
OK , took the boat out last week for the first time, backed out of the slip, then forward with throttle, it was working, get out in the bay and put the sails
off, pulled it up, and tilted it like it normally sits. Going back in to the marina , could not get it in forward, just sat there clicking, tried to go I'm gear
. Put it in reverse and it went right in, but didn't have any throttle just idled. Finally went into forward at idle, so we idled in, got to the slip and no reverse, which was interesting,.
So I've been working on it, when the back of the console is off, I have the throttle line out of its place, everything seems to work fine. I cannot move the throttle cable to where I want it after that?????
Going to get aa throttle cable tomorrow. Would that also fix my other problems??
