yeah, but I have seen it done without needing a new thruhull.

I tried but the Japanese put everything on the opposite side from the Germans.

Well I am doing it without a new strut (none on my boat) and without a new thruhull, but otherwise hard to argue with the analysis. And the Volvo/Perkins has electrical and fuel on opposite sides from the Sabb but in my case it is an improvement. Knowing Scandinavians it is no surprise that a Swedish engine and a Norwegian engine wouldn't be compatible...
