Raw Water Pump Peugeot Lehman

I have a Johnson water pump">raw water pump on a 1985 vintage Peugeot Lehman 4D61 engine. The pump is flange mount and gear driven. Although stamped Johnson Sweden, there is no part number on the pump. The Lehman manual IDs the pump with Lehman part number 2C47. Really need to find out the Johnson part number if any chance of getting a rebuild kit. Any idea on where I can find out info on this pump or where to get parts? I can't find Lehman company anywhere. Need to replace the bearings too. Thanks for any help with this.

Lehman marinized both Ford (mostly) and Peugeot (less commonly) diesel engines. Mine be the later.

I pulled the pump apart and yes, the bearings are completely shot. I am hoping that I can find a machine shop in La Paz that can replace bearings (they are pressed in). Really need to rebuild the pump. The cover, rear plate, and compression thing are all worn. If I could find the Johnson model number I would have a chance. Anyone been down this road??

Believe the Johnson p/n is 10-24119-5. Try Depco at 800 446-1656 for rebuild parts, or local bearing house for seals and bearings.

It is the pump. This one was a spare on my boat that came with it. It was not cleaned up like new, but looks like the shaft and seals and bearings were replaced. I no longer have the engine, lost it to an oil hose chafe leak. Also have the coolant pump. Am flying home from boat in PR today to states. Will take these with me.

Hi Andy - lou from Secondhand Rose- also a celestial 48 built in 1983. I think the number is on the starboard upper edge of the transom. It's been awhile since I looked for it and we are back in the states for the season. We have been sailing the Caribbean for about six seasons now. Would like to visit sometime about our boats. Lou
