I had the same problem last year on my Volvo Penta
TMD 31 .
The Original Volvo
tool is just to hight to be of any use and this is because my clearance above the injectors is only approx 15 cm.
I invested about 3 hours in fabricating a puller from a socket that had to be opened with a grinder due the return line on this perticular injector.
The pulling part was easy by welding the correct nut ( the same thread as the injector pipe attach) to a threaded bar.
